Strategic milestone strengthens IM GROUP's process engineering capabilities for the ink, paint, coatings and chemical industries
Turin, Italy, 5 June 2026 – Inkmaker S.r.l., founder of IM GROUP and now the sole shareholder of IEC+, announces the completion of the integration process initiated by IM GROUP in September 2025 with the consolidation of IEC+ operations into the Group's global headquarters in San Gillio, Turin.
The milestone further strengthens IM GROUP's position as a provider of integrated process engineering solutions for the ink, paint, coatings, chemical, adhesive, polymer and related process industries, while expanding collaboration across the Group's engineering businesses.
The operational integration undertaken over the past months has successfully aligned IEC+'s engineering, technical, and commercial activities with IM GROUP's organisational structure, creating a more streamlined and efficient operating model while preserving the specialist expertise for which IEC+ is recognised globally.
Inkmaker's acquisition of 100% ownership of IEC+ represents the natural next step in this process for IM GROUP, formalising an integration that has already delivered significant synergies across engineering, project management, production coordination, and customer service.
The integration further strengthens collaboration across IM GROUP's engineering businesses, including Tecnopails, which today leads the Group's Filling division.
Benefits for Customers
Through this unified structure, customers will continue to benefit from:
- Enhanced operational efficiency across engineering and project execution
- Faster response times and improved customer support
- Continued access to specialised dispersing, grinding, and mixing technologies
- Strengthened manufacturing capabilities through closer integration with IEC Plant Engineering Malaysia's production operations
Engineering Studies, Turnkey Solutions and Process Technologies
IEC+ will continue to provide engineering studies and turnkey solutions as well as technical design, automation and planning, for the ink, paint, coatings, chemical, and related process industries. These activities are further supported by the technical resources, global reach, and engineering expertise available from across the group.
Its expertise in dispersing, grinding and mixing technologies is further supported by the technical resources, global reach, manufacturing capabilities, and engineering expertise available from across IM GROUP's worldwide network.
"This milestone further strengthens IM GROUP's position as a provider of integrated engineering solutions, while reflecting Inkmaker's continued commitment to investment in process technologies, engineering excellence, and customer-focused innovation," said Roberto Guerra, CEO of IM GROUP.
"We extend our appreciation to employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners whose continued trust and collaboration have contributed to the successful completion of this integration process."
